How is the ART FACTORY plate radiator made?
The ART FACTORY radiator is formed by a flat and thin steel plate in the back of which there are steel pipes, inside which hot water flows.
The surface being made of steel is magnetized, useful for combining it with our magnetized hangers at the point where you want.
In what heights can it be purchased?
The vertical models have heights of 1400-1600-1800-2000 mm
The horizontal models have heights 500-600-700-900 mm
In what widths can it be purchased?
Vertical models have widths of mm:

The ART FACTORY radiator
is it manufactured with different thicknesses?
Yes, the vertical Art Factory radiator is supplied with 3 different thicknesses:
63-71-103 mm for vertical models
67-101-158 mm for horizontal models
Can the ART FACTORY radiator have the center distances for replacing aluminum radiators?
Yes, the Art Factory radiator has special measures that allow the replacement of aluminum radiators without modifying the pipes and therefore do not require plumbing and masonry work.
The models in question have the following dimensions:
Heights 600mm with double center distance 540 and 500mm
Height 700mm with double wheelbase 640 and 600mm
But how do I know which model is best suited to my environment?
The range of ART FACTORY radiators is made up of models with different thicknesses, from 63 mm up to 103 mm, all in any case very thin.
The great peculiarity of this range allows us to offer the customer a radiator that with the same size can have heat output in the ultra power version, up to 4 times higher than the basic one.
How does the front plate heat up?
The pipes placed in the back are crossed by the hot water of the heating system. In turn, they transmit the heat to the front plate, which diffuses it uniformly into the environment thanks to its specific design.
What are the differences between the thicknesses
the ART FACTORY radiator?
The Art Factory radiators have been engineered in order to provide high thermal yields in the presence of the smallest possible footprint, the range includes various thicknesses that allow in the same space so as to have radiators with very high thermal yields in the face of a greater thickness. greater thermal is obtained because inside the radiator there are a greater number of pipes that allow the hot water to circulate and therefore emit more heat.
What material is the plate radiator made of?
Steel, both for the plate and for the tubes.
How do I know which radiator model
does it serve my environment?
To optimize the dimensions of the radiator, it is necessary to know the area in square meters of the environment, plus some parameters, such as, for example, thermal insulation, exposure of the room, geographical position.
Are there any sharp edges in the radiators?
No, Art Factory plate radiators are manufactured for use in domestic environments and are therefore equipped with rounded corners and screwed sides.
What are Watts?
Watts are a unit of measurement of the amount of heat that can be supplied by the radiator. The greater the number of Watts, the greater the amount of heat that can be supplied by the radiator.
What are the Kcal?
Kcal is a unit of measurement used in the past and remained in common use for historical reasons. One Kcal is equivalent to about 1.16 Watt.
What is meant by wheelbase?
It is the distance expressed in mm between the hot water delivery pipe and the return pipe.
How the radiator is connected
to the heating circuit?
Normally there is a valve and a holder.
The valve serves to regulate the flow of water passing through the radiator. The more water passes, the greater the amount of heat emitted by the radiator. The keeper has the purpose of balancing the flow of water between the various radiators in the house. The valve is recognizable because it has a knob that can be adjusted by hand.
The holder has a lid under which there is a screw. The lockshield should not normally be tampered with, it is adjusted by the plumber during the installation phase. The valve can be opened / closed by hand in order to increase / decrease the heat flow generated by the radiator. In the most modern installations the regulations foresee the use of thermostatic valves. These are equipped with graduated scales or displays on which to set the desired temperature. Once the temperature has been set, the valve autonomously increases / decreases the water flow in order to maintain the desired temperature.
I better install a development radiator
vertical or horizontal?
The installation of a heating body is now part of the domestic furniture, so in addition to expressing the heating function, the Art Factory radiator is also part of the furniture, being completely customizable according to the desired furnishing style. Of course, in an environment with very high ceilings, it is advisable to install a vertical radiator, the same applies if you have limited space horizontally.
Where is the plate radiator manufactured?
The ART FACTORY radiator is 100% made in Italy.

and film care
How do you customize the radiator?
In the first phase, the material is subsequently printed, after having allowed the material to rest for 24 h, it is laminated with a transparent protective film and finally the printed film is coupled to the radiator.
What material is used for personalization?
Printing is performed on a white polymeric PVC film and laminated with the corresponding transparent polymeric material.
How long does the film glued on the radiator last?
If properly treated, a polymeric film indoors is able to withstand even over 10 years.
Does the film used discolour over time?
The inks used for printing have a progressive natural abatement, but with the polymer lamination and the lack of exposure to direct sunlight the discoloration is minimal even after many years.
Can the used film be replaced / removed?
Yes, but you must have adequate technical skills for the correct removal and possible application of the new print.
Can the film used be scratched?
Yes, matte lamination offers protection against normal wear (cleaning) but tends to get scarred on impacts.
What product do you recommend for cleaning
the radiator and the film?
The films applied to the radiator can be cleaned with normal household cleaning products (including alcohol). To avoid solvents or aggressive acids.
How do you clean the surface of the film?
Soft paper cloths, microfibre cloths, non-abrasive sponges can be used.
